Recently purchased Record Now Music Lab 9 so I could download a bunch of cassettes to my hard drive. I had it installed by dealer & have had nothing but problems since that day. Sometimes it will split tracks, other times it won't. It will freeze up my computor so solid the only way to unlock it is to turn off by holding in start button. I've had it back to dealer 3 times to try to find problems, had it reinstalled twice & no improvement.
I don't know much about a program but for what ever reason this software program is acting like a piece of junk. If I could I would return it but that is not an option sad to say.
If anyone out there can help me I would really appreciate it as I like music & really want this program to work so I can download my cassettes.

what kind of computer you have? It would be helpful if you list your computer specs.

Since you say it works "sometimes" - do you ALWAYS defrag the Hard Drive before using a burning program, turn off screensaver and other programs, including the AntiVirus and FireWall (and get off line, even if you have a 24/7 connection)?

It may have to do with what else the comptuer is attempting to do at the same time so the less distraction for the processor, the better.

I understand from the geeksquad that there is a hot patch fix for RecordNow9 to fix the problems. Where can I find it withinn the Roxio web site?

Go here http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/recordnow...re_updates.html

Ask the "geeksquad" were they got this "hot patch fix."

Please provide us with some more details. We could assume you have installed some software and now things are not working.

If you just installed some Roxio/Sonic program tell us what it is (be specific)....what O/S do you have? Did this come with a new computer or was it included with a new burner?.
