After I convert my old 8mm Hi8 tapes to digital, I get a garbled video at the bottom of the screen. I know this is normal and you can't see it when viewing on a TV , but I send and upload video to people for viewing on the computer. Is there a filter or tool in Easy Media Creator 9 that will clip this garbled video so it cant be seen when viewing on the internet or computer?
Thanks
Jay

I had this occur on some old video, too. I used the Pan and Zoom feature to cut out the offending area. If you need help on how to use P&Z, post back. Someone else might post a better way to deal with this, as well.

Check out the available overlays (Add Overlay) and see if any one will do the job of covering the unwanted segment.
