How and from where can I open the Drag-to-Disc program? I don't see it under the Easy Media Creator 10 Suite or under the All Programs Menu.

Drag-to-Disc has been dropped from EMC 10. If you still have a previous EMC version installed, D2D should work from there.

Don't know, but in the help files, there is a disclaimer stating that Drag to Disc isn't included in all versions of Roxio suites.

mellow.gif I am somewhat dismayed with what I am reading about D2D and EMC 10. I have just built a new WXPpro system to replace my venerable W98SE. My old system had an earlier version of Adaptec and I have all procedures set up based on the use of D2D which not only include manual, but more importantly from applications without any interface difference from that between folders or hard drives. Now that I've come out of the "dark ages", as my son so painfully reminds me, I find that this useful feature has been dropped. I guess I'll have to find EMC 9. I had poked into DLA, but read in the Wiki about it having adverse affects on XP. Please no comments about Vista...I've opted out of that for now.

Quietly don't mention those words D2D! Someone will come along and scold you on using a CD-R/RW or DVD-+R/RW as a big floppy disc, even tho that is what you want...

You are correct. If you want D2D on a WinXPPro computer, you'll need to find version 9.

If you ever decide to buy a computer with Windows V*****, that has a built in drag to disk feature.
