My pc came with "My DVD Plus" installed for burning CD/DVD's. When opening my Sonic Digital Media Plus v7 and choosing "Data" to burn picture files to a DVD, all of my picture files are then rearranged alphabetically by the titles I have given each of them. Is there a way to keep the picture files in the order I have them saved in my folder to a DVD? I do not want them organized alphabetically, rather keep them "as is" when I transfer them to My Digital Media Plus for burning. I have perhaps 300 pics I am attempting to burn. I have searched the "help" section in my burner and must be missing something this simple. Can anyone help?

The DVD is being read by Windows, and Windows uses alphanumeric to read - that is, it reads alphabeticly unless that is overruled by numbers.
This even applies to dates, which results in
1 Jan 08
10 Jan 08
12 Jan 08
19 Jan 08
2 Jan 08
as an example.
So, to get the dates to come out right, it's 01 Jan 08 and 02 Jan 08.
I can see where it would be a pain to go thru and change the names before the burn to
001 filename.jpg
002 filename.jpg
011 filename.jpg
105 filename.jpg
etc. However, I think that's going to be the only way that works, unless you have them organized by date and the date is in a form that will do what you want.
Whether you change the name in the folder rather than just in the burn layout depends on how it's being read in the folder now.
