Toast 5 And Digidesign Hardware Issue No longer able to use Toast 5 with TDM/192 on G5

Hello everyone,

Up until recently, our music studio was able to use Jam 5.0.1 with our G5 (OS 10.4.8) and Digidesign Hardware- an HD3 system with a 192 Digital I/O. We had no problem running Jam through TDM. However, recently we have been unable to run Jam through TDM though no changes have been made- the system has not been updated, we have not run any other recent updates of our software, nor has any of our hardware been changed. Both Jam and Digi preferences have been deleted several times, and the system has been restarted multiple times.

We have, however, been able to use Jam through Digi CoreAudio by switching the 'Sound Out' in Jam's preferences to 'Mac OS X Audio HAL.' In this window, whenever we switch to 'Digidesign HW (HD)' and select 'OK,' Jam automatically switches to 'Built-In Audio.'

Any help would be much appreciated. All best,
