Ok, I am almost completed my videowave project, it has to be done in 4 days for a b-day gift.  It has 186 pictures, text, transitions, and audio.   I am new at this and this is my first project ( have over 100 hours into it).  Is there anything i need to know before i burn it to DVD?  i have a verbatim DVD-R 8X.  I have read all the nightmares and I am scared to death to try to burn it.  I am not real computer savy and any tips would be appreciated.  Also all my audio I used is from I tunes.  Are they not going to burn onto my dvd?  should I download them from somewhere else and start over with my audio before i finish.  Sorry about the babble but I am real worried at this point.  I appreciate all the tips you have given me thus far. Thanks again

Bring in the Videowave production to MyDVD. You do the authoring (menu, titles, etc) here in MyDVD. Watch the preview. If ok, burn to an image file. Then use Video Copy and Convert to burn onto DVD.

Here is a tutorial in EMC 9. Same steps for EMC 10 but instread of Disc Copier, it is Video Copy & Convert in EMC 10.

Edit: If you burn a video-folder set for image file, you can watch it first using Cineplayer. If satisfied, then proceed burning to a DVD.

Yes. You can go back and edit the original production.

However, you'll have to rerender the video because it won't automatically change the files in the video-folder. So you cannot edit then burn from the original video-folder because you'll be burning the original production.

When you rerender, it will change the files in the video-folder to the new edited production and then you can burn the DVD from that folder.

Caveat:

If it is just minor edits, you can do the edit of the production that is already in MyDVD. However, if you go back to Videowave to edit the production, please note that the edits here don't get carried to whatever you already have in MyDVD. If you want to use this edited Videowave production, you have get rid of the one in MyDVD and bring in the updated Videowave to MyDVD.
