Had it on my old computer(older version) and had no r trouble. Is the windows vista burn system interferring & finalizing the discs? Or what. Please help. I've sought help with the ask roxio section but nothings addresses this problem. What am I doing wrong?
How do I add to a session maybe is the correct question?? I emailed Dell and got some references to help which I am reading through now..I've used live format and master format.something must not be checked off .It has got to be something simple? Please help!!!!!
Since you used the word "session" I think you are using Creator Classic. Make sure that you do not have read only checked when you go to burn. You'll have to use the little drop down to see all the options. You actually have to import the previous sessions then add to that.
The help menu is quite extensive. It says, in part,:
Adding data to an appendable disc If you have an existing data disc that was created with Creator Classic and the disc was not closed or recorded as a “Read-only Disc,” you can add additional data to the disc.
To add data to the disc:
In the Projects area, click Data Disc to start a new Data Disc project.
Insert the disc you want to add data to into your recorder.
Click Import Data from an append able disc.
The data on the disc is imported from the disc and added to the Project area.
Continue as you normally would when making a data disc. This includes adding files and folders to your project, and then burning your disc.
