Hi, I have installed Easy Media Creator 10.
Is there any way (other than using the startup options in MSCONFIG) of getting rid of the system tray icon which appears at startup for the media watched folders thingy. Please excuse my ignorance, I'm not at my PC at the moment and can't remember it's proper name.
I don't seem to be able to find an option to disable that feature.
I can exit it by right clicking the icon and selecting exit, but I don't want it loading in the first place.
Thanks.

Open Media Manager, click on Tools, the click on Stop Watching Folders.

Edit:  I was just fooling around with Media Manager, and the Stop Watching Folders put an icon in the tray. smile.gif  I used msconfig to get rid of it.

Thanks for your reply.
Choosing to Stop Watching Folders is what I tried. But all it did was put a red cross on the system try icon, but I want to remove the icon itself and stop that feature from loading.
So, looks like it's MSCONFIG then.

You can also set all Roxio Services to Manual, in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services.

I believe that if you open up the Watched Folders Settings and uncheck the "Watch folders at startup" option, the sytem tray Icon should not show up any longer.

Brilliant, that's what I was looking for.
That's done it. Thanks!
