I FIRST OPEN EMC 10 AND UNDER PHOTO, I CHOOSE SLIDESHOW WHICH BRINGS ME TO A SLIDESHOW SCREEN, I DRAGGED EACH PHOTO INTO THE STORY BOARD, MADE ADJUESTMENT OF DURATION OF SOME OF THE IMAGES. THE LOCATION OF MY IMAGE FILE IS AN EXTERNAL STORAGE BOX.  AFTER I FINISHED THE SLIDESHOW, I PREVIEW THE SLIDESHOW, IT SEEMS FINE, THEN I TRIED CLICK BURN BOTTON (ON RIGHT/MID SCREEN,) OR CHOOSE FILE MENU TO BURN THE PROJECT, THE MACHINE TRIED TO OPEN DVD BUILDER, IT TOOK SEVERAL SECONDS BEFORE A PROBLEM SCREEN CAME UP TELLING ME THAT THE MACHINE ENCOUNTER A ERROR TO OPEN THE DVD BUILDER.

It doesn't use MyDVD to burn the DVD.   It uses MyDVD Express.

When you are on the EMC 10 Home screen..... under Applications on the left, see if you can open MyDVD Express under the programs on the right hand side.
