I use Easy Media Creator 7.5 . A number of weeks ago I produced a CD of some photo images , approx 300 and was able to play them on my TV with a Sony DVD Recorder (RDR-GX300). The only problem I encountered was that the replay would not go past 100 images. I don't believe I used the slide show software. Recently I used the MyDVD Slide Show software and completed a slide show with 2 slide shows on the disc, one with 300 images and the other with 85 images. I copied them to a CD and tried to play them on my Sony DV Recorder and all that showed was the first screen which indicated the titles of the 2 slide shows but I was unable to get it to show any of the slides. The slide shows work fine when played back using my PC and the Plextor DVD burner. I would appreciate any help on this matter as I think it must be something very simple that I am overlooking.
Thanks
Ron

I am not sure, but the only setting that I know that does that, is in DVD Builder.  If you  select DVD video on CD, it will only play on your computer, not a set top DVD player.

Could you explain exactly the steps you took to create the slideshow using myDVD Slideshow? I don't quite understand what you mean by you "copied them to a CD and tried to play them on my Sony DV Recorder".

Also since you have EMC 7.5 you would be better off to use Videowave to create your slideshow and then use DVD Builder to burn the slideshow to a VCD or SVCD or DVD.

The steps I took to obtain the VCD are as follows:
From the main menu under photo I selected create a slide show.
That resulted in a screen with 3 choices.
                         New Project
                         Edit Disc
                         Open Project
and also                                 Photo Slideshow DVD
                                                    or
                                              Photo Slide Show VCD
I chose photo slide show VCD. At the next screen I chose New slide show and moved my photos into the slide show. When I was finished I clicked on the red button that said Burn and put a CD into my DVD burner and that was it.

I have now decide to go the Route of the DVD as it provides a great deal more flexibility as to special affects.
Thanks for your help.
