I think the offical answer is "it's not supported"

I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit and DVDitPro HD and it works just fine.

There are somethings that don't work right .... but they don't work with Windows XP either.

I go thru more steps than most...
I am using a Mac to capture and edit the video and to create files for DVDitPro HD to import (without transcoding).

DVDitPro imports the video from my mac and then I create  menues using still pictures (jpeg) files.

I installed DVDit Pro HD on Vista with SP1 (integrated).  It refused to install a specific tool during install.  Regardless of that the app worked ok up to the point I'm at now.

I'm trying to create an ISO of my project and the instant it tries to transcode the video the app crashes.

Does anyone know of a fix for that?

Or, is there a way I can encode the video before I bring it in as an asset so DVDit doesn't try to transcode it?  Or will it do it anyway?

Thanks for any help!

----------

DVDitPro HD has a setting that tells it NOT to recode files that are already compliant.
Look under File:Project Settings   or File:Preferences
