I read other posts on here and did the DMA controller reset etc. Didn't do any good after reboot.
I have other software that copies DVD to DVD with no problems. Why can't this software do the copy?

DVD9 is double- or dual-layer discs. It looks as if your writer is not a DL writer, but I can't tell because you haven't said what model it is.
