Alright, so I went ahead and bought the Full version of EMC 10 since you guys told me the EMC 9 DE (Dell Edition) was a phony ripoff and the reasons for all the problems I mentioned.

But, you are wrong!!! Now all you did was made me waste my hard earned money! The full version is JUST LIKE the DE edition in regards to all the problems I encountered. Did you folks not pay attention to what I asked?! Everything I told you was a problem, and y'all said it was because it was the DE edition, is still the exact same on the full edition. So once again, let's go over all the problems:

1.) Songs in playlist are not numbered
2.) You cannot hold a song down with the mouse button and drag it to where you want it in the playlist. you have to use these annoying up and down arrows and keep clicking up and down for each individual song. THIS IS THE MOST ANNOYING THING OF ALL!
3.)You have to click add files and a separate window pops up that's not connected to the program. Every time you choose a song out of there it goes away and you have to click add files again and start over. The only way to get around this is hold down control button and highlight each song which is too frustrating.
4.)You can't change the shape/size of the boxes in the program. They are all set and stay that way.

EMC 5 sh*t on these new editions. EMC 5 could do all of these things. Is this what we are actually calling better technology. This is garbage. We are going backwards in technology.

And why would you guys tell me my problems would all be fixed by purchasing the full version if that is not true?

I'm am so annoyed.

Well EMC just lost a customer for sure. I am going to find another program that can fulfill all of my needs and do things like they should be done.

Like you I have had many problems figuring out how this program works. I am still learning. I have made many wonderful movies that I will treasure for many years. I have done them with the help of the digital gurus who give unselfishly of their time and expertise. These are not paid employees of Roxio. Given the chance they would probably get your problems solved but I expect after your harsh words that not many of them will offer.

blakeb99,

All the things you mentioned relate to interface/design. How about the functionality? Did you actually create a project using the software? How did it turn out?

Very well said Willard ! Once the program (EMC 10) has been installed correcty, it's just a matter of starting one of the many great programs included and then learning how to use it correctly. If most of the users that post a problem on the forum would just give some specific information as to how to make a certain task work in that program they are running, it would probably not take very long for the "gurus" to give a solution. I too, several years ago started asking all kinds of questions as yo how to accomplish a certain task in one of the programs and I got all kinds of help and my learning curve went up very quickly. And I have all of the gurus to thank for that. Funny thing too---I'm still learning new things every time I run the EMC 10 program !!! smile.gif

blakeb99 is the one who had 2 Topics locked out due to his obsession and utter nonsense about buying EMC 10 on Ebay… I think there were even some deleted.

Now he got a copy, doesn't understand how to use it and cannot even find the right forum to post in (this is a forum for EMC 9).

I think that says a lot…

As Brendon said, watch the door.

Hmmm, I wonder if he is using a version he bought off eBay for $10. At this point it doesn't matter. Perhaps he should have looked for someone selling "5" and install Windows 98? rolleyes.gif Software works the way it is designed; not the way each person wants it to work. I've forgotten what problems he was experiencing. I don't remember anyone telling him that all his problems would be solved with EMC 10 but perhaps I missed that rant.

Was there an Easy Media Creator 5 ? I know there was a product called Easy CD Creator 5.

I'm not sure Roxio will mind losing the money from Blake for buying the product off eBay since they would not have gotten any of it anyway.
