Hi again.
I have an AC3 stereo/384 (or 192 or 224) created by Vegas which i try to import to DVDit Pro HD.
I create a new project and try to import the AC3 file. I get the following error:
"Version of file is later than software -19015.
DVDBaseSession: The version of the session is newer than the software."

Does anyone have any ideas? SS Scott?

Thanx in advance.

sounds like somehow you are carrying over a session file with the AC3 and that is conflicting with DVDit. pull your AC3 into a separate folder without any session file in that folder, delete any old session file that may have been created by Vegas and then open DVDit Pro HD and import the AC3 into your project.

what about AC3s from Compressor?

i seem to be having this issue of AC3 not importing into the asset manager. i'm using compressor on mac to create the dolby 2.0 ac3. the M2V imports just fine...but not the audio.

thanks

compressor ac3 has the byte order reversed. Download the AC3Swapper tool referred to in this posting and your converted AC3 should be good to go:
