I plan to use a Canopus ADVC 110 converter to put a bunch of old VHS tapes into a format to burn onto DVDs.  What's the maximum amount of video which will fit on a DVD in each format using Toast 7 Titanium with which to burn the DVDs?  Thanks.

I don't know the maximum but you'll get good quality up to about 2-1/2 hours of video on a DVD.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

That's what I thought this said:

Making a DVD-Video
A standard DVD-Video can hold approximately 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of video or slideshows and offers the best quality, as well as Dolby Digital sound and full menu navigation.  If your recorder supports dual-layer recordable DVDs, you can create a DVD-Video with approximately 300 minutes (5 hours) of video.

but by then my poor brain was so rattled I thought maybe they'll pull something on me by making the DVD fit JUST SHORT of the amount of material on the tape and really make my head explode!   :)
