All Of A Sudden Toast Won't Burn Cd On Ibook What happened to Toast ??

I have TOAST 7.0.2 on my iMac & iBook. All of a sudden TOAST 7 , on my iBook will not burn audio cd's. I get "illegal request" message. I've reinstalled TOAST 7 and still no luck. TOAST 7 Titanium is still working fine on my iMac. What's going on?? I've used several different brands of media and still won't burn a disc. HELP![size=2]

When you reinstalled Toast did you also trash the Toast plist and prefs file in your User Library Preferences folder? Other than that you can do all the maintenance things such as repairing permissions, cleaning caches and running Disk First Aid or Disk Warrior.

Is "Illegal Request" the only error message you get, or is that just part of the error message? Sometimes this may indicate a hardware problem, but the error for hardware issues is generally more descriptive.
