I can not get get Toast 6 to run after installing Media Composer 12x or above.
OS 10.2.6 is required for MC. If MC is not installed Toast runs fine. If Toast
is installed first, MC will not even install? There is obviously some conflict in
codecs or such, and I can't figure it out. Roxio's phone support does not go
back this far so I need some help from anyone in the AVID community.
I Iknow there are others that have made this work, but they don't remember
how they did it...lol

Please help...

I don't know anything about Media Composer but look in your Library>Quicktime folder for third-party codecs and also look in the either the root or user Library>Audio folder for plugins, particularly in the VST folder. Try dragging these out of the folders to see if it makes any difference.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Well, it is sure starting to point to QuickTime. Not sure what that has to do with CD burning, but...I'll give it a try.

Thanks!
