Hi all

I have a major problem since upgrading to EMC 8 (from Easy CD/DVD creator 6). The program doesn't recognise that I have a dvd-writer installed - although it was recognised on Easy DVD Creator 6. I have an NEC 3520 DVD-RW with latest firmware (3.06) on it.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue as I have paid to upgrade to this software and can't use it. I was even comtemplating buying a new DVD writer but didn't want to take the chance that it won't work with EMC 8

Please help as this is very frustrating, I just want to burn some disks, surely it can't be that hard with EMC 8.

Cheers

Use the Knowledge Base article regarding this issue.  Click on the Easy Media Creator 8 link to the left of this message.  I believ it is the first one listed.  If that isn't your problem, look at the other articles.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Make sure you have Windows Media 10 & install the Patch update 8.5. This may help you it did for me. Good Luck
