Rolled Iexplorer back to 6 and installed firefox. On some links on EMC10 home page, IE is comes up as the browser even though firefox is set as the default browser such as clicking on "Enter a Discussion" Bring up IE instead of firefox. Also, in a seperate problem, when IE is used and closed, I finde through the task manager that it is still running in the back ground and I have to use task manager to force IE to shut down. Any ideas>

One of my problems was resolved. The forced shutdown of IE was cause by a corrupt framedyn.dll file and path in system variables. Copied over a fresh file form the cache and edited the system variables path. Now why do some hypter text links still call on IE whenever mozilla is set as the default in folder options?

Yes, does it on mine too, with all the links from the home application. It's a real PIA!
Do the Roxio programmers get 'cents-for-clicks' from Microsoft every time they bring up the Internet Exploder on my system when Firefox is the default browser?
