In Tivo Transfer, several shows that are listed in my DVR each have a red circle with a slash through it to the left of the show title and the "start transfer" button is not active therefore not allowing the show to be downloaded from Tivo to the computer. The shows ARE on the the Tivo as I've confirmed each one. What has gone wrong here and can I get rid of the red circle and transfer these shows to my Mac.

Thanks in advance.

The Series 3 and the HD dual tuner both have copy-protection software. Most of the television shows are now using the copy protection so at best you can only view it later. The series 2 did not have this software and you can still transfer files from it. I still have my Series 2 hooked up just for this reason.

Wow! You have GOT to be kidding me?! I'm so bummed. I have the TiVo HD using a MultiStream Cable Card so I'll have to assume that copyright protection is the case.

Does anyone know a way around this?
