Hi
I'm trying to use the "Copy Tracks from Audio CD" feature of Create Classic, and MP3 isn't one of my choices. Somewhere in the Help file, I found a reference that said I needed to download the MP3 pack, after registering my product. I register the product, but don't know where to find the add-on pack. HELP!!

Normally in Classic all you do is open it, create new audio CD and then drag and drop the .mp3 files into that.
That will convert the files into cd audio.
You don't use 'copy audio tracks' unless that is the format they are in.
Howver if you are trying to rip an audio CD to make mp3s, that's a different matter - normally you would use a third party program to do that.

I'm trying to rip, from within EMC7, but mp3 isn't one of my choices for output formats. In the Help file, I found this:
Creator Classic
§ MP3 encoding and conversion are only available after you register the software and download the MP3 encoder.

I think that, given the age of the program, that add-on is long gone (current version is EMC 10)
However, thetre is an update available for EMC7 - whether or not it has the mp3 pack, I can't say

I can't remember exactly but that may be the Cineplayer mp3 pack it's talking about.If I remember correctly that was not a free add-on.
I tried looking for it and didn't find it.You might call tech support.

Roxio had a free add on MP3 pack, back in the days of EMC 7. I believe it worked with the Basic version of the software, which the OP undoubtedly has.
The add on pack wasn't needed for the Retail version.

Two free MP3 encoders CDex 1.51 and Exact Audio Copy. Both use Lame encoder version of your choice.
