What is the best size for photos that will be used for a DVD? I know the smallest size that 10 crops to is 4x6 but on some photos that is way to big for the tv screen.
Can anyone help me out?

DVD Video is 720X480 pixels. If you are planning to pan/zoom, then a larger dimension would be more suitable. DPI doesn't matter in video.
