I have my production done in videowave with all the music added. For some reason, I could not add any music in the "music track" and had to add it all to the "SFX Track". Wasn't a proglem til now. I want to delete one song and drop in another to take it's place - would have been easy if I could use the "Music" track, but if I add it to the "SFX" track, which is full, how do I insert it into the empty space instead of the end? Make sense? thanks MK

You can also add a narration track and put the music there. Hope that helps!!

Try using the Media Selector and drag the audio file to the track where you want it to go.

Sorry I'm so late getting back. Thank you so much, did not know I could drop it in narration track, nor did I know I could "drag" the music. I am going to do both, just to get to know my options. Thanks so much. MK

A little tip. In VideoWave, click on View, then click on Media Selector. Once the Media Selector box comes up, click on View again, then click on Dock Media Selector. It will always be there then, and you can browse and drag files, from there, directly into Storyline or Timeline.

Thanks again, I will take all the tips and hints I can get. Now that I am comfortable with making still picture and video productions in videowave, I decided to expand and REALLY get to know EMC9. I learned to put one picture as the background for the length of a song, then fade in and fade out different pictures as overlays. I have been printing out all the tips and tricks in the forum, and just having a great time. The end result is just amazing and I surprised myself. So anything you can pass along is surely welcome. You are welcome. There is a lot that you can do, and the best way to find things, is to keep playing with the software. It is fun.

I can't remember the minimum resolution required, but try the next higher resolution.

You will have to play around with the settings to see what works but try what Grandpa Bruce suggested! Also note (and this is from prior experience) that the setting will not take effect until you restart. At least that is what happened to me when I got my new computer with VISTA. Hope that helps and enjoy the software. It really can be amazing!!

It is real handy to have it out front. I am glad you got it to dock properly.
