I have Creator Suite 10. I videoed on a green screen, but can't figure out how to put the background in.
Can anybody help me get started? The tutorial and book are no help. I want to learn to do this myself.

Add the background to the Main track.
Add the video with green screen to the overlay. Select the overlay and choose View/Settings. In the drop down list, select Chroma Key.
Click on the first color patch and select the eye dropper. Move it to your overlay and click on the GREEN part. That selects the color. Adjust the brightness tolernace, spread and hue tolerance as needed to make all of the green go away. You can select additional colors if you have a difficult time with just one color chosen.

ggrussell,
Great tutorial- thank you. I have one problem though- I don't see any boxes for additional colors under the primary color box, to tweak any overbleed. Any ideas? I'm running EMC9: Build 900B88F. Thanks for any help....

Hmmm... I could have sworn V9 had those. As you can see, my example is also a good example of how NOT to hang the background or light it. LOL There are too many wrinkles and 'draped folds' near the corners. The background really needed to be as flat as possible and lit more evenly. And the person could have been standing farther away from it, but we had very limited room to work. All in all, it worked OK, but not perfectly.

I have both EMC 9 and EMC 10 on my computer, and I don't get the additional boxes in EMC 9 but do get them in EMC 10. I do know that some folks do get them in EMC 9.
