Hi,
Version 7 of EMC seemed to have a timer recorder that you could set when importing video when you were not at your computer. It would stop recording at the appropriate time, so you didn't keep recording after the tape was finished. I can't seem to find it with EMC 8. Is it gone? Hiding?

Also with the old My DVD you could specify Chapter lengths in minutes and it was no problem. I can't seem to find anything so simply with EMC 8. Why did they take a couple of good products and degrade them?

Also, I have had major freeze problems with EMC 8, something I never had with EMC 7 or Nero. It would be nice if Roxio could iron out these problems before putting it on the market.

Easier said than done... It's simply impossible to test software thoroughly enough to work on ALL computers. Even Windows doesn't work well on 100% of all computers.

Depends on which version you purchased: Essentials, Standard or Deluxe. See the comparison chart here.
