OS-Windows XP Professional SP2

I currently own Roxio RecordNow Premier Version 8. When I click on "DVD & VIDEO", I get a series of functions on the right side of the screen such as "Create or Edit DVD Project", "Quick DVD Creation", etc. These functions are not working. If I double click on any one of the functions, as I said, nothing happens.

I have a project of putting about 2000 35mm slides on a DVD. I am scanning the slides in my system saving the pictures in a "jpg" format and then making a slide show. I need to learn how to do this but I would like to divide the slides into "chapters" so that I can via the DVD player, skip to a certain point and not need to read the pictures sequentially form the very first picture.

My question is: Does Creator 10 Suite contain MyDVD or should I purchase MYDVD separately? I can continue to use RecordNow Premier Version 8 for all my data needs and use MYDVD for my video needs.

I am asking your help in making the above decision.
Thanks,
Sam

The Easy Media Creator 10 Suite does include the full version of MyDVD. You should take a look here for more info.

Before you try to create a slideshow containing 2000 photos consider this: a standard 4.7GB DVD will only hold about 60 minutes of video at best quality. A bit of math will show that that only allows about 1.8 seconds per photo - impossible to watch.
