In mydvd9, I have a home movie project 1hr+45min long, and a seperate 9min slide show.

when I preview the project, the quality is as good as the imported material, (good)
but after I burn a disc there are allot of scenes that are pixelated, definately not as clear.

i tried rendering to software but with no improvement
burned to iso then burned iso to disc still needs improvement.

using ATI driver, Verbatim burning at 8x, playback on Sony progressive scan dvd player

any ideas on what else to try?

A 4.7gb DVD holds about 1 hour of material at Best Quality… You are trying to put nearly 2 hours of material on one.
