But I have not deleted all the occurrencies of Roxio in registry (only under local machine/current user software and some others, but there are lots of all over the registry - classes, etc). RegClean from Microsoft does not help either. Some important entry in registry that I missed?
But why?
Did you follow ALL the steps in the
knowledge base article about clean uninstall in the order in the article?
Also see if
Revo Uninstaller (free) will identify that EMC 7 is there and use it to clean those registry entries.
Also remember that WMP 11 will also cause problems with EMC 7/7.5
If that doesn't work, maybe it it time to reformat your hard drive?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
