I downloaded Cineplayer today and I still can't play a DVD. I get the error message Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

I have windows xp
Windows Media Player 11
Direct X most recent today 5-2-08
Uninstalled & reinstalled Cineplayer
Restarted machine

I still get the same error message that I got BEFORE purchasing Cineplayer. Also XP checkup video decoder utility says Sonic Cinenmastervideo.dll 4.1.1.0 is not compatible with sync feature of Windows Media Player 10.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much

The video card driver was already installed when I purchased it.

Go to the website of the card maker, download their latest drivers (making sure you get the one for your OS), uninstall the present one and install the new one - let us know if that helps or not
