EMC V9 worked quite well when I first purchased it but it started giving me serious problems lately and finally MY DVD would not allow me to add any movies and would crash along with other problems.
In frustation I tried several other programs but none had the features as does EMC.
I read a small blurb from our resident expert which said registry cleaners could affect EMC.
I had recently started using RegCure which always found many errors.
With an uninstall of RegCure and a total clean uninstall and reinstall of EMC V9 it again is working fine.
Thanks for the tip and I thought others might want to know it is true, RegCure was the problem.

That along with Norton are 2 of the regcleaners that have been found to delete a required registry entry for Roxio.If you read the other posts on this you'd find the registry key that is deleted and have RegCure ignore it.Then you could use both.

You should report the problem to Regcure and see how they respond about the issue. I use JV16 Power Tools and I've yet to have a problem with Roxio as a result of doing a registry clean process.
