I was using v7.5 without problem but once I installed v8 my problems started.

I am able to burn CDs but Windows XP Pro "Explorer" hangs whenever a CD/DVD is in either of my drives (Plextor 504a and Plextor 617al) - I can't even reboot - I have to shut the power off. There's no event-log entry. I've now uninstalled v8 and everthing is OK.

As long as there's no CD/DVD in the drives I can see the two drive letters. Putting a CD/DVD in causes Explorer to hang.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Bert

I found another post with the solution - at least to my problem - disabling the RXFilter with rxfix.exe. (see http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?...34&hl=RXFilter)

Thanks,
Bert
