I have Dell dimension 8400 upgraded to Windows Vista. I am having prolem with burning photo slide show on dvd disk. The project seems to be completed with indicator in dvd express that everthing has been endcoded. It also shows that the image has been burned but when I replay DVD, it has no photos. I have tried to burn the image on the harddisk then burn it on dvd without much success. I also tried to copy the image using video copy but nothing shows up on the disk. I have also done the following:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Easy Media Creator 10, I have also downloaded the update from Roxi site and installed it but picture slide show does not show up on the dvd disk. I should note that I switched to Windows media center and was successful in burning the pictures in that program. Replay from that dvd was successful from, which means the dvd burner seems to ok. Any suggestions will be help. Here is a more detailed system information:
Dell dimension 8400
3 GB RAM
Large available space on harddisk
Windows Vista Home Premium with sp1
video Adapter (256 MB) drivers are updated
Thank you.

Have you tried burning to .iso file? This sounds like the same problem I had at first. After burning to the .iso file then you can burn to disc. Warning, burning to .iso is a slow process. Hope this helps.

No slower than the encoding/burning to a DVD process.
Life is good!

Yes. I have created and saved an iso file. When I burn the file to the dvd disk, same results. Do you think Vista sp1 update is causing the problem? I did not have any problems when I had Easy Creator 9, with Vista but without Sp1 update. As I mentioned, when I do the burning process through Vista media software, it works fine.

Did you try it using Software Render? (Tools, Options, Render – Software)
I hope you are using some RW media so you aren't stuffing a landfill with rejects!

Finally solved the problem. ATI videocard manufacturer posted new drivers (few days ago) which are compatible with Windows Vista. I installed the new drivers and was able to burn and complete the phote projects. Thank you everybody for your suggestions.
