Everything works doing my slideshow on Roxio Easy CD/DVD 9 burning program, until I hit burn, then everything locks up and I have to hit Ctrl/Alt/Delete to restart my computer. Very frustrating!

I updated myDirect X, Direct Draw tested OK, Direct 3D-7 interfaces tested OK.

Disable start up only made me restart in safe mode, so I reversed that.
There was a message that said go back to normal start up.

Control Panel – Add/Remove Programs – Roxio. ~ select the Repair option after clicking it.

If that doesn't clear it up, do the Clean Install procedure: Here
