I am running XP SP3 all software current. Easy Media Creator 9 on a Dell E1505 1 Gig Ram 71% free HD. I tried to copy some files from my HD to a DVD-R which tested good. Some of the files were data, some .jpg, some music files and 1 small video file. In total there was probably only a total of 1 gig being copied to a 4.7 gig DVD-R. During the copy of the music files up came the old "Blue Screen".

I have been burning DVDs with Roxio products for about 3 years. I find Blue Screens are pretty typical when ever I use this Roxio product. I'm not sure if it is just me; but, the product seems very unforgiving. Usually no error message, just crash to Blue Screen.

Other than rereading the EMC9 info, any thoughts?

First check/update your Video Card drivers.

I have had programs lock up but don't recall ever seeing a blue screen from Roxio. Been running it from Version 3 through and including Version 10…
