When I highlight a picture in the storyline, it is different in the preview. Do I have to start all over or is there away to get all back in sync.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear.....I'm an oldie and not clear on how things work on the pc.

The problem was I would highlight in storyline a picture, but above the larger picture, which should be the one that is highlighted, is a picture several frames ahead.

I did go ahead and deleted and I'm starting over, but if anyone knows what I did wrong, let me know. I would save a lot of crying and time...LOL!

You will have to give a bit information on what you are doing or trying to do. What program in EMC 10 are you using?

That's a new one.  Try these.

1) Check the internal tracks to make sure there is no image on the overlay track.
2) Clear the proxy files (top menu, tools, options, clear).

Is there a dotted line around the image you select?

Just to be sure…

This is a series of pictures (5) in Storyline with number 3 selected.

This is a Video in Storyline. Note that the blue scrubber is 1:01 min. into the clip and that the background of the Storyline does not match the preview screen.

What exactly is the problem? It is possible to have the picture highlighted without the blue scrubber at that location. However, when you click on a picture or video, the blue scrubber usually will follow to the beginning location of that picture/video. I guess what we would like to know is what you want to do??

Yes, it would help if you told us if you tried the suggestions and what was the result.  Did you look at the overlay track to see if one was there and did you clear the proxy files ?

Here is how you do it.

Please tell us about your computer and especially your video card.

There should be a number between XPS and DXPO51.  400 ?

What about my other question -- asked twice.

400 was missing.

I can't answer the other question, because as said a few posts back I went ahead and deleted all the pictures that did not match the preview and started over.....so far no problems, but stand by I'm bound to have more....LOL!
