I am having a issue where an ipod h264 file created from a video ts file or a disc image created from the same video ts file freezes up about two thirds of the way through playing the file. The quality of the ipod file is set to high and i am using the convert tab in both cases. Any suggestions? The ipod file contains chapter markers.

Mac Pro 2.66 quad
3gb ram
OS 10.4.11
Toast 9.0.2

Thanks

I suspect something happened during the encoding of the file. You probably just need to try encoding the file again or go back to the original source and re-encode that.

Thanks for the reply. I have already tried both options several times with no luck. I can however, burn to disk with the video ts file with no freezing issues.

I dont want to ask if the video_ts folder you have was ripped from a commercial DVD, because if you say yes, it wouldn't be legal and I would have to shut the thread down. However, if you have a video_ts folder that you produced using Toast or iDVD, try encoding from that and see if you still have the same problem.
