I purchased my computer last year and it came preloaded with roxio 9. I have recorded a TV show but I am unable to burn it as there will be no sound asI am told it does not support AC3 files. This seems strange as version 9 is said to support AC3 files but I am unable to check it in the project settings as it is dimmed. Every time I want to burn anything with dolby sound I get the following message
One or more of the added files contains AC3 audio, which is not supported in this version of the product. The audio will be replaced by silence. Please see the Home Page for how to upgrade to a version with AC3 audio support.
Do I have to buy the product or can I download the appropriate software.
The support site does not really help with this question
thank you

The retail version of EMC 9 supports AC3 audio, but some, if not all of the OEM versions, do not.
