I made a DVD slide show in Videowave. I previewed it and it played fine, including the music. I had it create the video file and then used disk copy. It played fine but no music. I took the music off and readded it. Still no music. I then redid the entire thing and sent it to my Dvd and it went all the way through the process until it started to burn and I got a message "Failed to start the image writing operation. Error while burning image." I did all of this in Media Creator 9. Any help would be appreciated. I need 4 of these by morning.

I don't understand what you mean by "I had it create the video file and then used disk copy.". You cannot use disc copy to create a DVD which I assume you are trying to do. Also, where did it play fine? On your PC or on a DVD player?
To create the DVD, you should launch myDVD and then add the Videowave project file (it has a dmsm extension) using Add Movie. You then set up the menu. To burn you then select the Burn icon. Since you want to make 4 copies, I would recommend burning to an iso (image) file instead of directly to DVD. Once you have created the iso, you should use DiscCopier to burn the iso file to a DVD. Repeat the burn using DiscCopier for the other 3 copies.

NVidia GEeForce 4 MK 440AGP 8x graphics card with 64 MB DDR memory
Easy Media Creator 9 System Requirements
Is this a bought version of Roxio EMC 9 Suite? Or did it came pre-installed on the PC from HP?
I can't even Google a good search to see if this card is a DirextX 9 card. I suspect this is most of your trouble! Open VideoWave, tools, options, run the graphics test, what does it say? Was it set in hardware or software, if hardware change to software and try again. Have you updated your video card drives lately, check the HP website for your computer updates.
