Hi!
I have installed the updates for RecordNow v7.22 found on this page:
http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/recordnow...re_updates.html
However, now whenever I try to run RecordNow it goes through a short setup procedure and asks me for a file called "rnenu.msi". RecordNow came pre-installed on my Compaq Presario, and I can't find this file anywhere on my hardrive or the recovery disk. What do I do?
Thanks!
-Mike

The updates are for the full Version of the program - the kind you would buy separately.
If it came with the computer (or a burner) it is an OEM Version [Original Equipment Mfgr], which the OEM supplier has bought the rights to use it and has had it modified to their specifications.
You need to contact the Compaq for support.

After reinstalling RecordNow! from the Windows recovery disk and applying the patches, everything worked fine. I don't know why it didn't work before.
On a further note, I've since discovered an update to version 7.32.1 available from the IBM OEM site (described here: http://recordnow.software.informer.com/). I wonder if I can update my version using this installer?

Since it is an OEM Version, again, contact the OEM supplier.
First, those of us who answer are NOT Roxio staff, just people who use the software.
Second, the OEM supplier would know what options they have in their own Version.
