Any suggestions????????? I have tryed a few things that the Roxio Customer Care recommended but nothing has worked!!!!

Hello,

The application which is run when you click on the 'Convert Video' button is actually Disc Copier9.
It is normal for the 'Home' application to retreat to the bottom bar as it loads Copier9, but it looks like Copier9 isn't staying running like it should.

Can you see if Copier9 is still running after it disappears, please? Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to get the Windows Task Manager, and see if Roxio Disc Copier is shown in the task manager under the 'Applications' tab? Is Copier9.exe showing under the 'Processes' tab please.

Would you try running Copier9 by itself when none of the Roxio programs are running? Go to the Start button > All Programs > Roxio Copy & Convert > Copy, and then click on Disc Copier. Does Copier run properly from there? If not, is it showing in Task Manager?

Regards,
Brendon

No problems with Nero, as long as you don't install Nero's InCD. Doesn't everything have problems with Limewire and TrendMicro?

Did you do the checks I asked?

Certainly did the checks but to no prevail. I'll have to get rid of limewire and disable trendmicro and try again.

Well, whatever you're planning to get rid of, after that's done I suggest you completely uninstall what's left of C&C 3 and then reinstall it.

Good luck.

I'm in the process of reinstalling XP right now, I was getting a message about a fatal error that was happening. So I figured remove XP and put it back on my cpu and go from there!! I will reinstall C&C 3 when i'm done with XP, hopefully something will happen

I've been having the same issue as your original problem (except I don't have Trend Micro or Limewire installed). Did reinstalling the program ever resolve the issue of DiscCopier 9 freezing up?
