Under Project Settings you can choose PAL or NTSC.

Never tried it but I would hope so...I'm using common sense which doesn't always mean anything when I use it but try it out and let us know.  I'm pretty sure it will do what you want.

First you will have to use Media Import to transfer the file to your hard drive. Create a MyDVD 8 project. Change settings to NTSC. Add your file. Create Menu. Burn.

Yes, it will convert it.  I have accidently burned PAL DVDs!! LOL

Yes, You can go to Project settings and change the settings there From Pal to Ntsc. Also, If anyone is having problems burning Slideshows or DVD's (which I had at first)... Make sure you download windows Media 10 and that you also install the New Easy creator 8 Update patch. Good Luck

Sweet answer. I'm actually going to try this out.

There are other ways - but I've only had limited success. If for some reaon the recommendation doesn't work - there is a thing called an IFO editor (put that in google), and you can actually select in the DVD header between NTSC and PAL. It's quick (minutes) and simple once you know all the switches to throw. Trouble is, the video and audio sync go weird and DVD menus don't work. The solution offered above is way better - a lot more work and time, but way better.

By the way - I presume you are taking a PAL DVD and trying to play it in the US? Because if you are trying to take a US DVD / NTSC and make it play in Europe - don't bother. All their machines do both PAL and NTSC. We in North America are the only fools that can't play all video standards.
