Changing Speed Using Lab 10 Premier

does anyone know how to change the speed of a song, the music not the voice

Umm... do you mean can you change the speed, but not change the pitch? In a recorded/digitized, 2-channel track, the music and the voice are all part of the same signal.

yes, changing the speed. i can't find where you change it using lab 10 premier. do you happen to know where i could find it using this software.

I don't have the package you have, but according to what's posted on the Sonic page, it looks like it has Sound Editor included. If there's any chance it'll do it, it'll be there under FX (effects) probably. If it doesn't have an option for changing the speed without changing the pitch, it may have an option to change the speed (which affects pitch) and a separate option for changing pitch. In which case, you'd do one, say, change the speed and pitch, then use the other to get the pitch back to where you want it. Again, I don't have Sound Editor in front of me to look at right at the moment. If you can't do it there, then I know it can be done using another audio editor called GoldWave, but check in Sound Editor first.
