I was backing up my files on a multi session and it crashed on the 11th of 61 disks. I found out on this forum that someone else had the same problem and there wasn't a way of continuing the multi data transferring.

I tried it again and it crashed on the 1 disk inserted.

Can someone help me?

When you say crashing, does the program close down or are any errors generated?  You may want to run some disc repair utilities (I personally like disc warrior) and make sure you don't have any problems with your source data.

Sorry,  I meant hanging up at the writing stage '99% complete'. I just bought the software and this is my 3rd time trying to burn a multi data disk. I am having zero luck.

Locking up is a tough one to troubleshoot as there are potentially several different causes.  I would start with the disk repair utility and maybe burning a smaller data set to test with.

now my toast is actually crashing, I have reinstalled it and I am going to try again. Toast sucks for multi disk burnig, fun thats the reason I bought it.

Since I purchase the software all I've been doing is trouble shooting,

Is anyone else having problems and can someone help or fix this problem?

Is there a maxium # that the software can multi burn?  If so the manual should state it.

I burn muliti-disc sets all the time. I generally dont have a need to go above 4 or 5 discs though.  I didn't see which version of Toast you are running so make sure you grab the latest update off of our web site if you haven't already.  I am also starting to suspect you may need to run some disc repair utilities on the system.  My personal preference is Disk Warrior.
