Hi

Can anyone advise me on how to set a manual layer break point using toast 9 Titanium when burning dual layer media. I have a iso file and have no idea how to set the layer break point. Also a link to a guide on how to burn Dl media would be great too

Thanks

You can set the break point in DVD Studio Pro. However, you must also burn the master disc in DVD Studio Pro as well. If you author & format a disc image, then burn the image with Toast, Toast will automatically reset the break point at exactly halfway (regardless of where you set the break point when authoring).

The only way to keep the break point set to the spot you want it, is to burn the first copy in DVD Studio Pro, then do a Disc Copy in Toast for all subsequent burns. If you rip the master disc it to a disc image, again, Toast will reset the break point. But it DOES keep the break point in place if you do a disc copy.

Half way through the file i'm bringing in, or half way through DVD DL?
