After compression, Toast gives me a disc image size of about 4.1Gb. Blank DVD's actually hold 4.38Gb - some other DVD programs compress to this size, which effectively reduces total compression and thus increases picture quality a little.
Is it possible to modify Toast's final compressed DVD image size to be a little higher than it currently is, therefore maximizing the capacity of a blank DVD??

I'm surprised yours came out to less than about 4.38 GB. Mine have been the full size although I haven't checked every one. The compression is not adjustable in Toast and the target is to fill the single-layer disc.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
