So If You Download a Movie ,say in avi format,what is the best progam to use to burn into dvd???Thanks

If it is not copy protected and you don't want to do any editing, use Video Copy and Convert.

That is possibly a DivX format that some DVD players will play as is.  Read your DVD players manual.  Use Creator Classic.

Use gspot (link) to determine what kind of AVI file it is.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

To add to what sknis suggested, if you want to have a custom menu, MyDVD will help you create one for your avi.

If you're using the Home screen, click on the Video button on the left and on the right, you'll see 'Convert Video' which will bring up the VC&C program.  Or you can access it from the Start/Programs/Roxio Easy Media Creator menu.

Possibly posted in the wrong area or an OEM of MyDVD (came with the computer)
