Sigh. I am still working with putting an H.264 video with AC3 audio onto a DVD-R. The stream file I am using is output from Encore, and is just over 500MB. Toast estimates the project will be 512MB. But upon actual burn to disc or to a ".toast" file, what I get has a 0000.m2ts file that's just under 200KB...pretty awesome compression, but of course, the thing won't play at all.
So that was with custom video encoding. When I reset that to "defaults", I get a 90KB file. Even better.
Does anyone test this thing, besides us?
