Sonic and Roxio are not the names of programs, but are brandnames owned by Sonic Solutions.
From what we've seen, most of the Roxio programs are being replaced by Sonic programs since Sonic bought Roxio.

Now, if you're saying "I've replaced my Sonic XXXX programs with Roxio YYYY, and there still seem to be some Sonic programs left behind" please tell us
-what Sonic suite of programs you had,
-how you uninstalled them,
-what Roxio suite you installed,
-and what Sonic programs seem to have been left behind.

In the Sonic Folder there is "my dvd and reccord now"  in the Roxio folder there is "DLA'  which I replaced because Sonic info told me what I had was outdated and to log on and get updated - and it took me to Roxio.
Thanks for your help

I think DLA is the main application they provided free update for. The other applications aren't replaced by Roxio updates unless you go and buy something like Roxio Easy Media Creator 10.

You should be fine now.
