Can anyone assist? I have a 78rpm disc I wish to copy and place in iTunes. I only have a 33/45rpm player and preamp. Will CD Spin Doctor record the track in MP3/Audio format?

I have limited experience with this but I don't see why you couldn't play the disc back at 45 RPM and then use QuickTime Player (perhaps only the Pro version?) or a program such as "The Amazing Slow-Downer" or "Transcribe" to increase the speed/pitch to normal.
If this is a really important transcription you might consider that the sound you obtain might be different via a phono cartridge designed for 33/45 vs. 78. In any case you'll probably find yourself wanting to make EQ changes, possibly also applying noise filters, etc.
There are also businesses who have specialized equipment for this kind of work; you can send me a message if you need more information.
