I normally use Adobe Premier Pro and Encore DVD and am very happy with them.  However, I have been given a set of MPEG-2 files from a third-party without chapters already marked to author DVDs from and need to achieve frame-accurate chapterisation. The product comparison chart shows that DVDit_Pro_HD offers Custom GOP creation for frame accurate chapters on DVDs and Blu-ray Discs but the manual implies this is not the case but that the normal problems with MPEGs applies - does anyone which is the case?

custom GOPs do not apply to MPEGs, they only work where the application transcodes the video.
